I'll be home for Christmas

This isn't really a rant, but it is useful information

5 or so years ago, my wife and I decided to start the tradition of bringing the entire family together for Christmas, so nobody had to travel Christmas day to visit 4 households (See the movie 4 Christmases...).  It has always gone really well, sometimes it's in our TINY CRAMPED house, but the family was together and thats what mattered.

Today we carry on that tradition, only I look more forward to it than normal because I save up my days off and take off as many as I can so we can travel to Kellogg Idaho to be with my in-laws. Most of the time, spending 2 weeks straight with your in-laws isn't ideal, but just take a look at the picture above! This picture was taken one morning over Thanksgiving break, but imagine it full of snow!!!! It's the most gorgeous place in the world as far as I am concerned, AND they have the worlds second longest Gondola ride up to the top of Silve Mountain!

I am SUPER excited to say the least, but the tidbit of useful information here is actually two fold. #1 - It's the holidays and family, traditions and time together comes first and #2 - When they do gather, make sure it's in Kellogg Idaho, the most beautiful place on earth!
