Yet another "how not to" rant...

Yet another "how not to" rant...

When ordering Christmas gifts, you expect a certain level of clarity...

I have to keep this vague, seeing as how I don't want those the gifts are intended for to know what they are getting... but here goes.

I order a certain something, from a particular company. Don't worry it's not popular so you probably will never order from it yourself. They processed my card, had a "guaranteed before Christmas" animated GIF on it. <--- Should have been my first clue... And so I thought all was well, espcially since they already took my money. (Didn't waste anytime there.) So I figure it's about a month until Christmas, I should certainly have the item on time. Several days go by with no update as to the status, some emails regarding my order are sent to their staff with no response, then suddenly I get an email saying my order was cancelled. So I go log into their site to check and what do you know, it says "item is out of stock".

Doesn't that seem like relevant information (especially when buying around Christmas) that one should have? There should be a little bit of clarity in their site outlining that the item isn't availble at the moment, otherwise you really have no business being in this space... It's the 21st century people, and NONE of this is going to break the bank for you to setup. C'mon, get with the program...

**Update**

I did get a refund within 48 hours... which was the best their service got.
